The Spirit of Roswell

Cruise the beautiful Chattahoochee River and experience the ambiance of slowly traveling the river and observing the beauty of the trees and wildlife. It is hard to believe you are only 20 to 30 minutes from downtown Atlanta.  This part of the river is seldom used by anyone but an occasional kayaker or canoer or fisherman.

Boat Description:  63 foot authentic stern wheel paddle boat.   Two decks with a canopy on the top deck.  Wheelhouse on top deck.  Tables and chairs for passengers.
CD Player with speakers on both decks is available.  If passengers bring their own CD’s , crew will play them otherwise selection is made by the Captain.  Dancing is allowed.
Toilet:  There is a small toilet on board for emergencies.  We suggest passengers use the public facility before boarding. 
No. of Passengers:  We recommend a maximum number of 65 passenger
Hours of Operation:  We are allowed to run the boat from an hour after sunup to sunset.
Operation:  Loading of passengers and food at Azalea Park boat launch, 203 Azalea Drive, Roswell 30075.  Loading of alcohol at 9755 Roberts Drive, Sandy Springs 30350 (Just across the river at the SE corner of the bridge at Roswell Road and Roberts Drive) at least one hour prior to scheduled departure.   Separate loading of alcohol is necessary because alcohol is not allowed in Azalea Park
Rules:  No glass containers, children 10 and under must wear a life jacket, no smoking
Charter:  Boat may be chartered between the hours of 10 am until sunset.   Each charter trip is about 2 ½ to 3 hours.  The trip goes to Morgan Falls Dam and returns to Azalea Park.  Client may bring their own food and beverage.  Charter price is $1,800 plus tax.  This includes the captain and crew and two 6 foot tables with black skirts and white tablecloths for serving food and beverage.  Additional tables and chairs are available for passengers.  Call Barbara at 404-274-6912 for charters.  A 50% deposit is required to confirm reservation.
Public Trips:   Call 770-650-1008 for schedule.  Price is $20 per person.  Children 12 and under are $10 each.   The trip is 1 ¼ to 1 ½ hours long.  Snacks and drinks are available for purchase. We are running a special for the month of September that all tickets are half price, Adults $10 and children under 12 are $5.
